Crime prevention survey/seminars:
A crime prevention officer, will conduct a survey of your home or office and make suggestions on ways to improve security.
Officers are also available to conduct seminars regarding crime prevention. The seminars include topics such as, Internet safety, protecting against identity theft, protecting our senior citizens, stranger danger and a wide variety of other topics. A seminar can also be tailored to your specific group or topic.
Defensive Driving Courses:
Throughout the year, the Mount Holly Police conducts defensive driving courses for all residents. After successful completion of the course, you will be issued a certificate, which will entitle most drivers to a discount on their insurance.
Bicycle Safety Inspections:
Throughout the year, the School Resource Officers will conduct bicycle safety inspections for all residents interested.
Bicycle Registration:
Bicycles may be registered by contacting police records. Bicycles must be brought to police headquarters where they are assigned an identification number. In the event the bicycle is lost or stolen and it is recovered, we will be able to return it.
Registrations are also available during Bicycle Safety Inspections.
K9/Special Response Team Demonstrations:
The K9 Unit and Special Response Teams are also available for demonstrations for your group.
All of these services are offered free of charge to residents of Mount Holly Township.
